Default T-grips, S&W to Taurus

I have a confession, I bought a Taurus 66 with the 2.5 inch tube at a gun show the other day.

Took it to the range today, and it shot groups like it was a laser gun.

Only problem is that it has the service stocks on it. I'd like to keep it looking old school with some Tyler T-grips, or BK grips. Will one for a S&W K frame work on the Taurus?

Thanks

If it is the very early Taurus, the T-grips will fit but not perfect....I had an early Model 83 with the lines in the cylinder flutes, and S&W k-frame grips "almost" were a perfect fit, and a Pachmayr grip adapter for a k-frame fit the Taurus....later Taurus' had more "beef" to the grip frame and T-grips will not fit.

Here's my Taurus 65 with a S&W T1 (j frame) Tyler on it. T1's fit all J frames, most K frames and a lot of Tauri.

Hope you have better luck ordering one than I do. It's been two weeks today since my MO was mailed, and still no t grips.

Tauri - never thought of the plural version of Taurus before, but I believe you are correct.
