Default Pawn shop find...SCORE!

Found this Ruger 10/22 at my local pawn shop today. It has the Ruger bull barrel on it. What do you guys think its worth? I paid 315 OTD. I'll post more pictures after while.

If you like it then it doesn't matter. I've let too many pieces walk away for $25 or $50 more than I wanted to pay and have regretted it. Nice buy in my opinion.

Nice! Stock looks good, too. Just looking at it I wouldn't be surprised if it had a few custom trigger parts as well.

Feels like it has a stock trigger. I have another 10/22 with a sweet trigger job. It won't be long and this one will have one too.

I think it's worth every penny. What material is the receiver made of? It looks like SS from looking at it. I bought a new one for my 7yo daughter for christmas and I was surprised with how much poly/plastic parts it came with.
Tell us how it shoots.

If you like yours as much as I like mine I wouldn't worry about the price.

Nice find. I have noticed all the 10/22s used or new if you can find them are running higher than normal. It's the semi auto rifle thing...at least they aren't asking triple or quadruple the normal price like they are on the AR's and AK's. If you can find them they are all over priced. That is actually pretty low for today's market.
Good luck finding ammo though. I have plenty because I have stocked up. But it is very scarce right now.

Yeah, this 10/22 is an old model, so yes it is stainless. Not a fan of the new plastic ones.

I have another 10/22 my dad bought me 15 years ago. I did not want to modify it so i bought this one. I've had thousands and thousands of rounds through it with zero problems. I have however wore out several magazines.

I also have stocked up on ammo so I'm set for a good while. I love smith and wesson but ruger is close behind.

A few more pics after I mount a scope I had laying around. If you look at the one picture the barrel actually has a twist. It's awesome. I found the gun up on Ruger.com it's actually a target model made by Ruger. Pretty sweet. Keep is 550. So I think I did okay. Internals have zero wear I would say it has less than a hundred rounds through it.

The receivers on the newer ones are black or silver painted aluminum. Spray some Powder Blast on it & find out.

The trigger housing group on the newer ones are plastic.

It looks like a 10-22T, I have one that is factory stock, that will shoot 10 rounds at 25 yards, and you can cover up the group with the end of your little finger.I think the price is good.

Fishslayer is correct the receivers are alumunum. I will be stripping the black paint off mine to have it anodized.

I remember I paid $79.00 for my first 10-22 new from Walmart around 1980.
