My wife and I are huge Guy Clark fans, saw him a few years back at the Cabaret Club in Bandera.
My wife had no idea what a Randall Knife was, but after hearing Guy sing this song, she turns to me and says I want a Randall Knife, not knowing what they cost.
She now owns a number 5.

Thanks for posting that. Made me think a lot about my own father.

Thanks for the link. It also has me thinking about my Dad. I don't know if he had a Randall fighting knife when he was in the Pacific. Somewhere I have a photo of him with a Thompson SMG but I did not notice if he had a knife on his belt.
