Turner, that last pic of yours is beautiful! Who did the leather? Absolutely classic! And a Damascus lever lock too...neat!

Haven't looked at this one for a while. A couple of additions:
My OM 41 Blackhawk with bighorn sheep horn grips from Patrick Grashorn. Knife from Bark River.
My previous hunting rig: A 45 Blackhawk (OM) and Randall #23. This is after a porcupine ate the knife handle. Both have buffalo horn.

OK, one more pic of one of my daily carry options...
S&W model 640-1 Pro Series 357 Magnum, Benchmade model 9100 Auto Stryker (issue knife), and a Streamlight ProTac 2AAA.
... Oh, and a 5 round moon clip reload of 125 grain Hornady 357 Magnum Critical Defense.

It warms the cockles of my heart to see a gun and knife that has some use and character. Hopefully there are many found memories that go along with the scars and dents.

Guy-Harold-
Who made the copy of the Grohmann No. 4 survival knife with that M-586 with the nice rounded stocks? Did you round the stocks or have it done? Looks very nice. Were they also thinned and is the checkering original or re-done?
I like that Gerber A-F folder. Have one on my belt right now.
Thanks,
T-Star

The knife is a Battle Horse Knives Nessmuk or Muk, The grips I did myself, bubba had already mangled them up by softening every edge I tried to redo the cutout and went for a Jordan style look at the bottom.

Knife is a Bark River Classic Drop Point Hunter, CPM 3V steel. The grip panels are black linen micarta. It was a new addition to my hunting pack for the 2014 season, and I've been pretty pleased with it so far.

Man, you folks have posted some very nice things. Such a variety, I expected to see very similar items, but the individuality is what was unexpected.

A great thred, a lot of nice combos here. I'll add some more to the mix.
A 1st model American with an 19th century folder.
Here is a New Model No. 3 with an early Marble's Safety Knife.
Registered Magnum with a period Marble's Ideal knife.
A Pre-Model 34 Kit gun with a period Marble's Woodcraft knife.
A Model 27 with a period Marble's Longhorn knife.
For good measure a Colt Model 1902 Military with a period Marble's Safety Knife.
