Default Knife + handgun photo thread

How about a photo thread with handgun + knife. It can be small handgun/big knife, big handgun/small knife, big handgun/big knife… whatever. I’ll start with a BIG knife/small handgun.

S&W 642-1 (11/99) + Schrade SCOR Bowie

My M686 no dash wearing Executioner Elk Grips and a Tyler t-grip is displayed with a S&W SWAT folding knife. My M15-3 wearing Eagle Sambar is displayed with a stag grip knife dated to 1868. My Dad took it off a perp sometime in the '60's.

Just don't bring em to a gun-fight, unless the gun comes along.

None of my knives are that fancy, but I got some photography to do.

I'm not a big knife guy but there is a knife in both of these photos. It's a CRKT fixed blade. Not sure of the model.

This RB, #16, was a gift from a hunting buddy years ago before RB got in the Guild. The little Colt was stocked in Ivory some time later.

Boy, I REALLY gotta get caught up on pics, especially my BIG Bowie and my Walker!

Here's a few:

First up: My hunting rig. An OM Ruger in 45 "long" Colt with Buffalo horn grips. The Randall #23 Gamemaster was chewed up by a porcupine one night and I replaced the chewed grip with buffalo horn, also.

Next up: A 1943, Iwo Jima 1911A1 veteran with an M-4 carbine bayonet.

Uberti 1860 Colt Army with home-made knife and leather.

Uberti Dragoon with buffalo handled Bowie (home-made)

Lipsy 44 spl Blackhawk with a Chuck Stapels knife. Both with elkhorn (grips by Grashorn) and home-made leather.

Installment 2 to follow!

Second verse, same as the first!

Lemon squeezer and Russell Damascus:

Colt Officers and Boker, both with faux ivory.

Back-up hunting rig:
45 "long" Colt "OM" Vaquero with Chuck Stapel, scrimshawed by Bob Engnath and EPS holster.

My older BBQ rig:
Colt Python with Grashorn elk, chuck stapel's knife with elk and EPS leather.

I guess I should explain that I am autistic/Aspergers. We tend to specialize/collect. One of my "fetishes" is knives and guns-they gotta match. That being said: here's a few more.

Ruger Bisley and the #23 before it became porcupine chow!

1895 Winchester, Colt New Service and a Buck

Wife's "Bear gun" 41 mag and another Stapel's knife. (We both know Chuck from our time with Quail Unlimited in SoCal)

Sorry if this was kinda over-bearing.

Thank you for that quote. I'm going to use it in the future whenever anyone asks about one of my white handled guns or knives. It has a ring to it. Better still, they won't be confiscating "faux" ivory since it must come from "faux" elephants. Those aren't endangered as far as I can tell. Unlike the elephants that gave up real ivory years ago. Those are really dead and hence no longer endangered either. I'll just call them "faux" and hopefully the FEDs won't want to confiscate my treasures!

.38 Special. Google shows that they were also made in .45ACP and .22LR.

Yes, a nice leather sheath with a flap and snap closure. With that upswept point it's a little tough to get in without snagging, but it's not like I use it a lot. One of those things I saw at a gun show and said, "I gotta have that!" Don't recall if it came with a box or anything else but the seller did have a copy of the Shotgun News ad that PKP had originally run. I bought it in '97.
