Dryheat's post no. 301 shows a Randall Model 2 at the bottom of that triangle. It reminds me a lot of a dagger found in King Tut's tomb, especially in blade shape. Have we really come all that far in blade design?

I actually prefer the Model 1 on the right, but if you like daggers, have you seen the two from Tut's tomb? One is solid gold with lapis lazuli (?) trim and engraving and gold beadwork on the handle., and was copied at great effort and expense by Buster Warenski. We're talking a $100,000 knife, as I recall. The other, with iron blade, is more like the Randall Model 2, esp. in earlier Randall production.
The Tut daggers also have very ornate sheaths. Well worth looking up on the Net.

Snubbyfan...
... I like carrying a 'Hawk in my car or truck. I've got a couple of them but the last one I bought was an SOG Fasthawk. It's the first Hawk I ever bought with a polymer handle and I have to say it's a handy thing to have on a farm. I also have an SOG Kukri that I use for taking down tall weeds near our barns and house. It's a nice big one too and really holds an edge.
Here's the Fasthawk: FastHawk
And here's the Kukri: Kukri Machete
They're both nice pieces of equipment and neither was terribly expensive either.
Safe shooting to you Snubbyfan, again nice Hawk!

Good deal Dryheat, here's my .02
I mentioned my SOG Fasthawk to Snubbyfan, so here it is along with the SOG Kukri Machete and my little Smith & Wesson M&P Bodyguard.
And the second picture is my Sheffield Rogue, CRKT Sting and my Ruger P-85.
Good idea for a post Dryheat, thanks!

Are both stag - handled knives Model 5? I'm pretty sure about the one on the right, less so about the other.
I like your Model 15, too.
Have you ever noticed how Model 2 blade looks a LOT like that on the iron-bladed dagger from King Tut's tomb? Not much changed there in thousands of years... I wonder if W.D. Randall modeled his Model 2 on that knife as well as the Fairbairn-Sykes commando dagger.

There's some great combo photos here (and some posts I wanted to see but couldn't). Here's model 38 no dash and an Edge Mark 469 bowie, both recent purchases.

I haven't seen a CopperLock with a Wharncliffe blade before. Mine has the usual clip shape.
Interesting knife, although I prefer the usual clip blade. Case makes some nice knives.

Rick-
I've owned several M-28's, and all shot fantastic groups. Mine had six-inch barrels like yours, too.
I literally just took delivery of a 75th Anniversary Model 119 Buck knife. I already have a std. one like yours. Probably won't use the new one much, as it's a collectible, made only last year. See YouTube for videos. QC on the knife is excellent.
A tag on that box says it was shipped from Buck on Dec. 4, 2017. It's found a loving home.
I think the Model 119 Special is one of the best factory knives made, certainly in a modest price range. I've used a desktop photo of one on a log in a forest. Several such pics and of Model 120 General are on the Net.
I suspect you like that knife a lot. Thanks for the picture.

There's a famous statue of Perseus holding the head of Medusa. The shape of his sword blade reminds me of that on your knife.
As a Grecian sword, I think that one may be unique.

The stag handled knife on left is a Randall Mod. 12 "Little Bear Bowie"
and yes the No.2 was inspired by the British Commando knife says so in the Randall Cat.

Kitgun-
I know it was inspired by the Commando knife. I've seen Randall catalogs since 1960 or so. But look up King Tut's daggers, too.
What I wondered was whether Randall had seen them and took that into account in designing Model 2.

That’s kind of an odd pairing.
