Default CZ 527 .223 Carbine

Well, I was going to take this little carbine to the Winston-Salem NC gun show this weekend, but it's going to rain all weekend and I don't feel like driving an hour each way in bad weather.

So, here's some pictures. This is not an attempt to solicit offers, I've shipped one long gun, I'm not doing it again!

These are sweet little mini-mausers. I liked this one so much that a few years later I bought the "American" version with a longer barrel and straight buttstock.

Default So what kind of money are you looking for?

I am not so much of a CZ fan, only have half a dozen of them. #3 is now gone but was replaced with the HS Precision stock varmint .223 model. How many rounds have been through it? Does it have scope rings? What is the two digit date code on the right side of the receiver and barrel?

I have a revolver in the classifieds and listed CZ 527's as a trade interest.

I had a CZ 527 FS .222 Remington a few weeks ago. It would not shoot, the barrel rubbed the stock. I relieved the barrel channel and it shot way better, though I did not have a rest or scope. Some friends were visiting and noticed it, I sold it to the wife. She refinished the stock, added a scope, sling, and ordered two extra magazines.

In the fall of 2011 I traded into this CZ 527 American in .222 Remington and gave it to my brother for his birthday a few months later. A few months after that I found a spare mag for it. Whether he realizes it or not, he is blessed to have me.

Hey Colby, no interest in shipping, but thanks. I like CZ's also:

This '57 BRNO #5 .22 could be considered a "pre-CZ", I guess, but I have a couple of 452's also:

My relatives are in Rocky Mount and Salisbury. There is a shop in Franklin that does trades with a shop in Clayton, GA.

I too have had problems shipping long guns, but those have been due to stupid people. I would relate those stories here, but I doubt you would believe them. A properly addressed and packaged firearm is no different from any other package in transit.

The 527s are nice little rifles. Only issue I have with them is the backassward safety. Even with the safety they might be the best rifles for the money available today.

I have 2 CZ rifles and I love them both and one is a CZ455 Combo pack with a 22LR barrel and a 17 HMR barrel and I have a CZ 550 American in 22-250. They are great shooters and work great and are 100% reliable.

CZ 455 with 17 HMR barrel

CZ 550 American in 22-250
