I've had this one since June 2002. Caliber is .45-70 with a 10" barrel, and put a lot of smiles on the faces of those that fired it. It's quite a handful and to tell the truth my Godson was the best shot with it. Seems to me a well built revolver.
I shot a friend's BFR in .45-70 once.
He had loaded up some rounds with 300 grain bullets.
Recoil was not as bad as I expected it to be.
Fun to shoot and fun tell people I had shot it, later.
I'd like to get one but S&W revolvers keep getting on the list in
front of it.
