Hello all:
I have inherited a Colt Police Positive 32 caliber 6 shot hand eject revolver. It was produced c.1905. It takes, 32 long Colt and 32 short Colt cartidges. I have found a guy who will load the 32 short Colts for me for about $.50 each, which I think is a fair price for this antique.
My question for those of you "in the know," is there anything other 32 caliber cartridge that can be fired safely from this old gun? and without doing damage to the revolver?
I know it is not much of a gun but it is to me. It seems to be the "red-headed stepchild" of the Colt line (and why I have never been able to figure out?)? I would like to shoot it more than I do without breaking the bank (or the gun). If anyone can help it would be appreciated.
Thoughts!
