Tavor in 308/7.62
This article is a year old now but I found it as I have been looking for a new 308. I like the concept.
Does anyone know if this is going to be produced?

The Israelis have usually been pretty good at evaluating what is needed for their kind of war in their part of the world, and adapting accordingly; but this one would surprise me a little as a choice for a main battle rifle. Definitely a trend-bucker.
I'm not about to argue with those tough guys, however.

Good point. I emailed IWI US out of PA. They said "At this time there are no plans to offer the TAVOR in .308/7.62x51mm."
http://www.iwi.us/
I imagine the Israelis would be the one to ask but being the article is a year old and the US plant said no go it looks like I am out of luck on this one.
