I was looking to trade my WC Sp101 for an S&W but I got offered a model 15-2 8 inch instead. It's NIB. Should I take this trade? What should I ask for in cash difference if anything?
If it is one of the Monson manufactured guns new in box 8" it's probably worth around 650$ if it has the tools, paper work, etc.
Super accurate handguns. I have a few, all a joy to shoot.
Depends on the condition of the SP101 and what you want.
Those are two fairly different guns considering they're both .357 revolvers. The Dan Wesson would be great for shooting at the range but not very good for carrying around all day. Dan Wesson's are supposed to be super accurate and I'd do the trade straight up but it all depends on your wants/needs.

Welcome to the Forum,
I agree with silentflyer. The Monson built guns were excellent in both fit and finish and accuracy. The bonus with DW revolvers is that the barrels are interchangeable. You can easily change the 8" out for a 4" in a couple of minutes. Extra barrels/ shrouds are not difficult to locate.
