Default 1901-1903 Remington No.6 Rifle .32R

I recently aquired a Remington Model No6 rolling "falling" block "boys rifle" in .32 Rimfire.

It is in realatively good condition with minor rust in a few spots, and it needs a rear stock. However, the bore looks good. I have found a source for a replacement stock.

In my research, these were made from 1901-1903.

Does anyone know an estimated value, or where to get .32 rimfire amunition?

Thanks,

Double 9.

My best friend built a "Barnyard" gun in 32 S&W long for his daughter on a small Stevens rolling Block rimfire action. That can be converted to center fire, some easier than others. But for a shooting rifle, using available ammo makes a huge difference. RF ammo can be picked up ad hoc at gun shows, but people think 49 rounds in a beat up box is a collector item. I have a 38 Short RF revolver and manage to keep 40 to 60 rounds on hand pretty easily. Ivan

Dixie gun works sells brass cases for these. You use a 22 short without bullet or powder as a primer black powder and a .32 ball. Not like the original ammo but you can shoot it.

Dixie Gun Works muzzleloading, blackpowder and rare antique gun supplies.

ETA may be harder to find 22 short than .32rf.
