Early Ruger Flattop 44 with Ivory Grips
This Ruger Blackhawk 44 Magnum was shipped 58 years ago in December 1956 and is one of the first shipped by Ruger. It has a plum colored frame and factory ivory grips. Click on the photo for a better look.

I can't resist. When I decided to get some ivory, I knew there was only on of my Rugers eligible. Here's my flattop with after market grips from Boone Trading.

Super nice bill! Wow.
I have a 4 digit flat top but it's nowhere that nice. I will see a guy this week with a 3 digit flat top 357. I keep trying to buy it but he us stuck on $1800. I am thinking $1250-1400 max

Beautiful 44, you can almost see Skeeter's right hand closing around it!

Doc44, all I can say is WOW! That Ruger is beautiful!
This is the best I can do in a .44 Ruger, shipped 20 years ago with Ivory Faux Lett grips, LOL.

I love my NM flattop Bisley in .44sp, but nothing like the pedigree of the OPs gun.
