Default Opinions?

I am in somewhat of a quandary. We have among our collection a High Standard H-D Military in .22LR and have recently been considering a sale or trade. The wife really wants a .357 and we would like a 9mm also but our daughter, who is 9, shoots the .22 and we aren't sure if she is ready for a 9mm yet and we don't want to not have something she can shoot as she really enjoys it. What to do?

Keep buying more. Simple.

Everybody needs a 22.

Depending on the condition, that HD Military could be sold from $300-$800 and you could buy one of the newer .22s for a fraction of that. And put a dent into the cost of the other pistol or revolver.

Easy,
Keep the HS and buy a 357 and/or 9MM

If you do not have the cash in pocket, put it on Lay-A-Way.

More than 2/3 of the firearms I purchased when I was young was on Lay-A-Way

I found that if the store had my money, I was more motivated to put in some over time her and there or take an extra shift.

If the cash was in my sock drawer, we could pull $40 for this and $20 for that out of it and it was like I just never had the money saved.
