Default S&W stocks on Pythons

I just watched a YouTube video where the gentleman showed off a pair of unfired sequential numbered (with the numbers highlighted in gold) six-inch Colt Pythons. He described the Python as the best revolver...in the world. While beautiful pieces, I noticed they both wore S&W style Coke grips with Colt medallions. They looked like the new style Targets seen on current Classic series revolvers. Does S&W make grips for other brands now or is this some sort of custom job?

Poor quality video but they do look like Cokes with Colt medallions. In the video (17:46) it shows a Colt letter and lists the "Type of stocks" as "Not Listed".

They don't look quite right to my eye but as I say, the video is a little low on resolution. I thought maybe someone re-checkered a set of Python stocks but they normally have the checkering closer to the butt than on a set of Cokes so maybe not.

That is the gentleman I was talking about. Seems like a nice guy, a little overboard at times, but not bad. I have just never seen S&W stocks on a Python before. It really threw me off.

Eagle Grips used to make a set of Heritage stocks that looked just like a set of Cokes but without a medallion. I found some posts on the Colt Forum that indicate they made them for Pythons. Perhaps some on added a Colt Medallion to a set of this stocks? Then again maybe they just modified the medallion on two sets of Coke Bottles. They just don't look quite right to me.

The Colt stock (locating) pin is to the rear of the lower grip frame, while S & W usually puts this in the center. There may other dimensional variations but otherwise it must be possible to make them fit.

I believe those are Eagle brand stocks.

Eagle is my guess, too. The shallow checkering, somewhat bland wood and less than perfect fit all point to Eagle's Cokes copy stocks. It wouldn't be difficult for them to make some up that fit Colt frames.

Thanks for the answers. They just seem so odd to me. Considering they are are sequential unfired Pythons, you would think Colt factory stocks would be appropriate. Seeing S&W Cokes on a Colt has a new experience for me.

It's a copy of a coke or target grip, probably made by Eagle.
