Default I HAVE STRAYED

Forgive me Forum for I have stayed from the fold. I am a 'dyed in the wool' S&W man, primarily a K Framer; however, I have a new love (at least 'til something else comes along) I just picked her up..............Colt Cobra .32 New Police. Over all shape is better than seller described although there is some shiny wear along the edges. 1671XX is the number, I am not a Colt guy so will have to do some research to figure out the manufacturing date. Now I am afraid I will have to have a 3" .38Spec and a .22RF for a triple.

I'm relieved. I too was concerned that you had gone Glock.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket as my 90yo geography teacher would say. Many s&w's, a few Colts, a few Rugers, maybe a taurus. A dozen here, a dozen there, maybe a Half dozen mix it up.

I'm not ready for a glock, when they were first sold the bottom of the mags would fall out and all the rounds were on the floor. If that happened to me I'd still have nightmares about it. Don't pass the glock here.

Some of us may have started with Colts and strayed here.

Both have some wonderful guns.

But straying to the wrong farm, think recycled milk carton guns, might get you a dose of turpentine applied with a corncob. You'll come running back quickly.

I resemble that remark. With today's prices,I'm glad it wasn't the other way around.

I've owned a couple of 2nd gen Glocks and liked them fine, but kept coming back to Smith revolvers.

That is a mighty sweet little Colt. I'm envious.

I've fired exactly one glock. One of the 45acp compacts. After I got a hot case between my glasses couldn't get them off fast enough. Thanks but no thanks, they don't have "soul" or speak to me. Frank
