Colt Cobra value
It's a 2nd generation Colt Cobra
Blueing is fading on the back strap, and it has some missing on the left side plate.
I've seen a few on GB but never saw their final price.
I was hoping to get around $600 for it. Any chance? or am I hoping for too much?
I'd keep it if I didn't need the money.

Can't hurt to try. You are not outrageously over priced. Those who love 'em, love 'em and they don't make them like that anymore.

Thanks for the input. I'll try my luck locally first.

FYI: Private seller at a recent show out here had a NIB Agent with exposed ejector rod, similar to your Cobra, for $700. Absolutely cherry. Not really interested, but I probably could have gotten him down $50 or $100.

A lot depends on the condition of the gun & your location.
A gun that goes for $400 here will sell for $500 - $600 on the west coast.

Realistic selling price IMO is more in the $450-$500 range in that condition if it times/indexes correctly. Pristine with the box would be more in the $700 neighborhood.
I've owned a few Cobra's and they are a fantastic small carry gun.

I won several Cobras and DS's. You are not too far off. If you ask $600, I would try to get you down to $525-550ish. Is the red insert factory? I have not seen one like that. Wish my Cobras had it.

The person that I bought it from claimed the red insert was from the factory. I too haven't seen another one like it, so I find myself questioning his claim.
I have it posted at a few ranges in my area priced at $600 OBO/price negotiable. I'll lower it if I don't get any hits.
