Just when I get out .... they keep dragging me back in!
Well. I was HiPower-less for several months after owning 9 or 10 of them over the years.
I just could 't help myself. I bought a Mauser 80SA which is a BHP clone. My research indicates that it was made by FEG in Hungary and sent " in the white " to Mauser for finishing and marketing under their name.
I need another 9mm like a hole in the head. But ...... Well.... Y'all know how it is. .
[/URL]
Just curious , how many 9mm pistols do you have?
Mine are:
Glock 17 & 19
HK P7
S&W 5906
... & now the Mauser.

I just picked up a FEG off GB. Pretty stout trigger pull on mine. How's yours?
This is my third 9mm. I've got an M&P full-size and a Walther PPS.

It's funny, when I think about it. Back in '99, kinda worried about Y2K and the world going to hell, and if it DID happen, it might be a good thing to have a 9mm. Just in case I needed to resupply off UN troops.
Bought a commander-size top half for a 1911, and a dozen or so magazines.
This was a "just in case" plan. I'm not a 9mm guy.
So there I was, mentally reviewing my stash for this thread.
Red 9 Mauser.
Erfurt Luger.
P35 VIS.
P35 Browning.
HK PSP.
Beretta 92.
Smith 940.
Walther P1.
And I still got that commander-length top half for the 1911.

There's something about picking up a High Power. Your hand just goes: "Mmmm!".

I think my FEG came from the same seller as your Mauser. Here's the GB photo for mine.

I once had a FM HiPower (made in Argentina under license) and it was hands down the most accurate HP I've ever owned! It out shot my FNs by a mile.

Years ago I had a Star Firestar in 9mm that out-of-the-box provided me with 2 inch groups at 25 yards with a Meister 125 grain bullet and Bluedot. I sold it for "Cowboy Gun" money.
A couple of years ago a friend gave me (no charges) a 1967 Browning HP that was about mint. I found a good load for it using True Blue. But I gave it back to him because.......................
I found and bought a 2000 or so issue bright blue Browning Hi Power that had the better sights. No loads for it yet.
I also bought a CZ75 Compact with the "cocked and locked" option versus the de-cocker (I just don't like that style).
In theory this is ALL of the 9mms I will own (stop laughing!!) But, I keep looking at the Israeli issues being sold on Gunbroker for good prices and keep thinking, "A beater HP would not be a bad idea."
The Browning Hi Power is one the best handling handguns I have ever held. I place the Colt SAA in 5 1/2 inch variation and the S&W Model 13 in the 3 inch variation there as well.

Funny - I'm a revolver guy, first and foremost, but there are some things you just have to possess. I admit I dumped my excellent Norinco 1911s a year or two ago but there was a purpose - I acquired a grail gun with the cash - my long sought after Browning Hi-Power.
So I have five 9mms, now that I think about it....
1 Browning Hi-Power
1 SIG SP-2022
1 S&W 6906
1 S&W 5903 SSV (this one is new in the box; handled but never fired!)
1 Kel-Tec P9 (- which to this day I cannot recall where I put it and it's such a junk gun I don't even look for it. It might have been stolen. I don't care. Someday I'll figure it out or stumble upon it where I hid it from myself......)

"Just curious , how many 9mm pistols do you have?"
Too many, and I sold, traded, or gave away several last year. What I currently have is below.
S&W 3953 and my daughter's Shield.
Italian made Beretta 92FS Inox.
Sig P225's and a P228.
Gen. 2 Glock 17.
Gen. 2.5 Glock 26's and Gen. 2 Glock 19's.
I think everybody has one of these old things, a commercial model HK P7 PSP.
My Belgian BHP on the bottom. I gave the .40 S&W on top to my son.

Browing HP! They are great. I have a nice "T" series Browing in excellent condition and like it very much.
Now asking how many 9mm pistols is a bit embarrassing.
1 - Browning HP
2 - Model 1906 DWM commercial Lugers (one American Eagle)
1 - H&K P7M8
4 - assorted Lugers made by Mauser
1 - Sig P210
So it looks like a total of 9.
That's not counting my full auto Uzi or the 9mm top for my M16A1.
