Default Anyone Own/Shoot a Chiappa Rhino?

I was at the range today and the guy next to me had rented a Chiappa Rhino 4" in 357 Mag. I have seen this gun in many showcases in the past, but never gave it a second look. But watching the guy next to me fire it and seeing it exhibit virtually zero recoil made me take a second look.

The barrel is at the bottom of the cylinder and lines up with your wrist, which virtually eliminates recoil. Even with 357s it barely seemed to recoil.

Anyone shoot one of these or own one of these? Thoughts? Long term reliability?

The more I look at this gun, the more interested I become. Would love to shoot one, maybe even consider buying one.

I have wanted to "give one a shot." But, I haven gotten around to it yet.

By the way, this thread should be in the Firearms & Knives - Other Brands sub-forum.

The 2 inch barrel one looks interesting in 357 mag it looks awesome but weight a whopping 1.5lbs according to their web sight. This will be something Id have to shoot first before purchasing but thats a slim chance where I live.

I don't think you mean it can eliminate recoil. Newton's laws still apply. The Rhino might eliminate barrel flip. I have never fired one, so I don't know, but I think barrel flip is the issue.

Perceived recoil is reduced significantly. I have a 2 and a 6 inch. The hotter the ammo, the less recoil is "felt," as far as I can tell. They are VERY accurate, and not as heavy as the specs may indicate. The 2 inch comes with a nice holster, too. I do point out that the trigger pull is very stiff, and "single action" is not really a possibility. It can be done, but....
