Walther PPK 7 rd .380 magazine heads up
I've had an Interarms PPK .380 as my suit/Tux gun since the mid-80s. 6+1 and a spare 6rd. mag is my normal carry.(My normal cc since about 1990 has been a 3913 but the PPK still does duty from time to time.)
Discovered they now make a "X-grip" for the PPK......it fits on a 7 round PPK/S magazine (Mec-Gar) and makes the gun feel like a....you got it a..... PPK/S....... I'm going to go with one of these new mag. as my reload...... only one more round but it is a .380!!!!LOL
GregCoteLLC.com about $12........

Been carrying a magazine for a PPK/S as a spare for a long time. One extra round and it works fine.

All my spares are PP mags. Sticks out the bottom of the grip a half-inch or so, but otherwise it's just like a PPK mag.

PPK/S and PP magazines are the same. The two pistols share the same frame.
Either one will fit in a PPK and lock in position.
They will extend outside of the bottom of the grip of course but will afford the extra one round in a PPK.
Good idea for an extra carry mag.
I often questioned why people carried the finger groove PPK magazine as the extra magazine when a PP (or PPK/S) magazine was the same length and gave an extra round to the user.
Doesn't look cool I guess.

I don't use longer 8rd mags in my Shorty because they can over insert and damage the ejector. Don't know if it's the same with the PPK.

Shorty45 for the win...... in a stress filled situation..... I don't want to shove a PP 7 round magazine up past the extractor....
this new (?) X-grip will keep that from happening.....this is the primary reason I got them .....not to make a PPK into a PPK/S and, why I passed the information along
