Default a snake in the snow

One of my very good friends is just now getting into reloading. He's been spending a lot of time fussing over everything and is making some nice looking rounds. He's got 400+ rounds loaded up and I mentioned to him, he should do some testing before he loads any more. Yesterday was the only day we both could get together. It was snowing hard but not very windy. His loads shot pretty good and we had a great time. I snapped a few ****** cell phone pics and thought you guys might enjoy seeing an anaconda out in the snow. The loads where various commercial bevel base swc's on top of 6.5 gr of red dot, some groups where almost at the 1" mark. I think he's going to make a great handloader.

With a nor'easter in the area, you two are diehard shooters. Glad a small snow storm didn't keep you at home. Looks like you had fun, Larry

I'm always quite impressed at snake owners that actually SHOOT their revolvers, and in the snow to boot! Nice going and happy shooting!!

It's really nice to see a DIRTY Python for a change !

Around here, most of them just get their weekly rubdown with a diaper cloth.

The old 1 ton makes a great bench. Those cheap pistol rest's aren't half bad either. Add a couple of old homemade sandbags and you can shoot some pretty small groups.

Not much of that down your way? We haven't had much so far this year but they're saying we're going to get pasted this week. We have a pretty hard crust under the 4 or 5 inches we got yesterday, I think the deer are having a hard time of it right now.

The gun in the op is an anaconda 44 magnum, colts answer to the smith 29-629 series and ruger redhawk. We do regularly shoot one of his pythons though, that one is on its second rebuild.
