Q: AmeriGlo I-DOT sights?
Anyone here have any experience with them? I'm considering installing a set on my carry pistol.
Thank you in advance,
John

I love the Ameriglo I-Dot sights, with Orange front.
I also love the Trijicon HD with Orange front.
I've used both on Glock pistols, and on Sig pistols, and you can't go wrong with either one!
The I-Dot is QUICK for your eyes to pick up, and get on target.

I like the Trijicon HD's in yellow. They are standard 3 dot of course and the only time the i dot would really come into play is at night. For me it's easier to line up the 3 dots rather than an i dot in the dark. I would suggest hold both in your hands before you make a decision, don't just order online unless you can send one set back. The white circle on the rear i dot sight I would find distracting but it's what you prefer, no right or wrong.

I have Trijicon HD's with the day glow orange front dot. I can pick up the front sight quickly, and I like them well enough. I was thinking of switching it up to the i-dot because they might be a tad faster to line up. The other set I was thinking of is an XS big dot. Right now it's stick with what I know or try something different.
Thanks for all your helpful replies.
