Default Revolver night at the range

Tuesday nights are my "Me nights" I go to the range, sometimes by myself, sometimes I meet a friend there. On a really good night I get to take my son. Tonight I met a friend I've known since high school at the range. We decided to make it revolver night. He brought a Ruger .45 LC and new Charter Arms .38 he just bought. I brought my Ruger SP101 .357 and a little .44 Mag I just picked up made by Pietta Arms. I don't know if this video will work in these forums or not, but I'll try it. I must say after all of these I still am feeling recoil. But what a fun hour at the range.

Looks like fun. Your indoor range is a little nicer than the one I go to. It's certainly better lit.

Pretty stout recoil.

It was a great time. Always is. The indoor range I'm a member at is really nice. Great people too.

That .44 with a 4 3/4" barrel actually has more recoil than my friends .45 LC. The only bad thing about shooting them, was the cost of the ammo.

That is a nice looking range. The recoil looks pretty good as well!

Despite being single the only time I shoot by myself is if I can't meet a friend or family member, as it's so much more fun with others and I'm more of a introvert.

I work 2 jobs. Tuesday evening I rarely work my second job. My son has a night where he and his cousins visit his Grandma's house. So I have the night to myself most times. I try not to pass up this chance to go to the range, even if by myself. It's very therapeutic to me to go concentrate on what I am doing, and not "real life" . My membership allows me free lane usage, so the cost of target and ammo are all I'm out. So if I have ammo and targets already bought, gas to the range is my only cost until I refill the ammo shelf.

I really like that .44, but wow the cost of the rounds are going to limit how much I can shoot it.
