Default Russian SMG ?

Anybody know what that SMG pictured in the recent photos of the Nemtsov murder trial ? It appears very similar to the HK MP9 ...

Pic comes up blurry when enlarged but looks like a updated version of the SR3 VELESK. 9X21. 900 rpm

Give me some time and I'll get you a more precise answer

You gotta love how the Russian "police/security forces" are always wearing the ski masks, and no marked uniforms. They come across as the thugs they are... Must really be something living in/under a regime like that.

Those aren't typical police. The security forces also do missions in unfriendly territory. No one wants to be identified and be killed or have their families killed. Like the Mexican marines that capture crime bosses!

Let me know if you want your face exposed when your next tour is in Chechnya. Where family retaliations is common and culturally acceptable to behead the family of your enemy. But hey go for it and don't forget to post your address as well.

The 2 people arrested are chechen. Framed or not someone in their family will want revange. You are just now hearing about mass beheadings by ISIS, in Russia this has been common place since the early 90s. Chechens, like a lot of middle eastern people are tribal. Blood for blood. I wouldn't doubt if there will be suicide bombings and beheadings related to this. So yea everyone in uniform wears masks.

There is a whole other cultural aspect that I won't even begin to get into. Let's just say that after the fall of communism laws and upholding the laws come at a price. People were afraid before. Now no one cares. Cops are considered garbage. ..literal slang. And as long as you have money anyone is fair game citizen or officer

Black dolphin prison. Only one person ever was pardoned. Everyone else that left, left in a body bag

Prison dogs are nicknamed wolf killer for their use in guarding livestock against wolves and bears

Google Caucasian shepherd or Tibetan shepherd, same dog. Kinda related to the St. Bernard but an older bread. If you think pit bulls are vicious you should see these dogs. Read some stories. Like I said, been used for thousands of years to protect livestock against wolves and bears. Some of the bigger dogs reach 200lbs and no amount of spanking is going to hurt it

Puppy

Back to the gun

Don't think I'd want to be in that photographers place after getting that "look" from the guy in the ski mask.

arik have you seen that Russian terrier that looks like a huge schnauzer? those are dern impressive dogs.... I had a European bred, Sch. trained Doberman police dog back in the late 70's early 80's.......Extremely child safe, family oriented dog who loved his job.......The Europeans do a better job of breeding working dogs..... police animals and hunting dogs, than most of the breeders in the USA.

I'd hate to try & hold back one of those dogs in the photos above.... one of the old guidelines was that the K9 handler had to weigh twice what his dog did to be able to control it when it hit the end of the leash at full tilt. on those dogs, that wouldn't be likely.

I've seen them. My cousin had one. It had a gray coat.

Impressive!

I'm afraid that I couldn't afford to feed the gun or the dogs.

The dog is called a Kavkaskaya Ovcharka. When I retire and move to Nevada, I may get one. They are very loyal and protective of their family. My son and I plan to do some hunting to help with feeding the dog.

I'd really recommend you get a trained one and not a puppy. They require someone with a lot of experience in training large protective breeds. You can't just smack it if it peed on the floor or didn't listen to you when you said sit. Hit it one too many times and it will teach you a new level of pain. They have a high pain tolerance and a high protection drive. They will actively take on a pack of wolves or a bear. Not just bark and threaten but fight, kill, die.

Do some online research. There's a story of one guy's shepherd that jumped through the glass from the 3rd floor to go after a mailman. Plenty of stories of them going through a hail of bullets and making the shooter very very sorry.

The Caucasian Shepherd's original purpose was to protect livestock. The typical Caucasian Ovtcharka is assertive, strong-willed and courageous. Unless properly socialized and trained, the Caucasian Shepherd may exhibit ferocious and unmanageable tendencies. It is very brave, alert, strong and hardy. It does not accept people it does not know and it has a powerful urge to defend. Everything and everyone who belongs to the family, including children, cats, other dogs, etc., will be regarded by this dog as part of "its" family and will be respected and protected. This dog should not be left alone with children, because if play becomes too rough, the Caucasian Ovtcharka my feel the need to protect your child, and may do it extensively. It has no time for strangers, but it will greet family friends warmly. It can be rather dominant toward other dogs it does not know. Some German fanciers employ the dogs as foremost guardians and deterrents. This is not a dog for everyone. It requires an owner who knows how to display strong leadership and who is willing to spend a lot of time socializing and training.

This is an intelligent breed. However, he must be properly trained as an uncontrollable Caucasian Shepherd Dog is extremely dangerous. He may be stubborn and unwilling to learn but you must be in control at all times. Use positive training methods and not aggression as these are proud dogs who don't take kindly to being beaten or threatened.

The Caucasian Mountain Dog will take it for granted that he is the alpha dog and will assume this role. He must be taught that ALL human members of the family are above him in the pack status.
