Default Had a chance to shoot three "new" pistols today.

Thanks to a friend I got to shoot CZ Rami BD, a NAA Guardian and a HK P30L.

The Rami was real fun for the size (about the size of a Glock 26.) and other than the slide being harder to grab than a "normal" pistol it would be my next compact carry gun. The DA was nice and smooth with 9lbs needed to release the hammer, while the SA had some creep it broke cleanly at 5lbs. The reset was about as long as a Glock's, so not bad but longer than I'm used to with my 3rd gen S&W's. It shot and handled more like a mid sized pistol than a sub compact.

The Guardian was a .32ACP and surprised me a little in how fun to shoot it was, despite having smaller sights than the LCP (the LCP's are wider.) and a 12 lb trigger pull that stacked I kept all 6rds of its magazine on a pie plate at 3 and 5 yards shooting "fast" (one round a second) and had a ball doing so. It was fun seeing what I could hit at different distances with just aiming by silhouetting the gun over the target. As a ultra deep carry gun I'd be temped to get it but would probably get the LCP as it's not much bigger and is lighter with not much more recoil and in .380 as well.

The P30L was a LEM or preset DAO model that has a reset point that's shorter than half of the full pull. The trigger really threw me as it felt "broke" to me because it was so light! It measured 5 lbs but that's most likely because I'm used to the DA pulls on revolvers and traditional DA/SA pistols at about 10 lbs. After shooting three mags through it it started to grow on me and I sure would take one over a Glock or similar pistol as it at least it has a hammer which I prefer. (Just personal preference.)

All I've shot for the last six months pretty much has been either .38's or .45's so it was kind of nice to change up a little and has renewed my interest in getting a 9mm.

Thanks for reading. I had fun and thought it would be neat to here what new guns ya'll have shot recently.
