Another Springfield
This time it's not a rifle, though. This little guy followed me home, a Range Officer Compact. There is some wear but overall it's in great shape. It's had a bit of work done, outstanding trigger on it, ambi safety, and the stocks were replaced with G10. The locking mainspring housing was replaced at sometime too, less to go wrong IMHO. ****** cell phone pics!

Thanks Shorty! I had been looking around for an alloy frame 1911, and dang near bought a nearly unfired. At 900 it was probably a good price but I didn't want a safe queen. This was in another shop and had already had all the mods except maybe sights done that I would have had done. This was considerably less cost too, not surprisingly.

I'd dump the front sight yesterday. Everything else looks awesome...

Im not a fan of the fiber optic front sight either, and wipo probably replace it with a tritium one. Nice rear sight though!

A fella can't have too many 1911's in the safe. Great score Ron!
