Fab Defense AGR-43 Storage Compartment

Hello Everyone,
New member so I'm hoping I put this in the right section. Have a S&W M&P15X and Im thinking about getting a Fab Defense AGR-43 grip for it. The only thing is I'd like to be able to fit 2 AA batteries in the storage area. Can anyone confirm that they will fit? If not does anyone know a grip that will other than the MIAD and the Houge?
