Stoeger over/under shotgun
Does anyone on the forum know anything about them? Anyone have experience with them?

A friend and his son had them to hunt pheasants. Seemed to be OK, built like a tank and a little heavy but they were younger. The father actually had a wild piece of wood on his. Buying one? Larry

I'm thinking about it. Someone on a another forum has one for sale. I think he's high on the price, though. I've always wanted an O/U shotgun, but they tend to be very pricey.
The thought will probably pass or he'll sell it while I'm thinking about it. That's what usually happens when I'm on the fence about a gun.

Gary,
I had a Stoeger SxS that I literally shot 10s of thousands of rounds in 15 years of Cowboy Action Shooting. Never a single mechanical problem. I did have to replace the stock after many years . Cracked at wrist. Not a o/u but only 90 degrees off.
