I took cannon off mount. There is no markings. I found a piece of order
blank in barrel. From: Cannon Works, Inc. Kansas City, Mo.
Barrel is 15" long, weighs approx 35-45 lbs., 40mm bore.
Can't find anything like it on line or company. Any info on value will
be appreciated.

It is more correctly called a "Carronade". Much bigger bore but much shorter range than standard naval cannon of the period (1750 to about 1830) Designed to be used in close quarters naval fighting. As to the manufacturer I have no idea but suspect it was cast in the 1950's /1960's for some reenactors group. The naval carriage might be appropriate for a keel boat of the type used to move hunters up and hides down the Missouri to St. Louis.
I found one of a similar design and much smaller bore years ago in a Wichita Falls pawn shop. Loaded it in the bed of a pickup and headed south to San Antonio staying off the interstate. It was a hoot, every town I went through people were gawking, turning around in the street and following me.
