I think they are great, I have the long barrel one in 45 and use schofield brass for nostalgia. Have fun its a trip back in time.

I have a pair of No. 3 Russians by Uberti and love them!
+1 on the Schofield brass. I use Starline brass and a 230 RNFP at 810 fps to duplicate the old 45 US load the Army came up with to supply both Colt and S&W revolvers. It works great in my clone 92 carbine turning it from 10 shot to 12 capacity. I have original ammo in both lead and jacketed bullets, it has a long conical shape like Webley ammo.
Most brass of recent manufacture, has a Colt sized rim, which is in fact 45 US. The smaller diameter rim may cause some ejector hang ups, so keep a eye on it, if trying the one handed cavalry reload (which I could never figure out)
