Default Value of TC Contender carbine kit?

Anyone have any idea of the value of a TC Contender carbine kit? I have an original one, which includes the buttstock and forend plus a 21-inch .223 barrel, which I am preparing to sell or trade. The stock and barrel have been mounted on a frame exactly once since I bought them in the mid-1980s, but the barrel has never been fired. (I've fired other Contender barrels many time but not this one.) Unfortunately, while the barrel is unfired, I have somehow lost the box over the last 30 years.

In looking these things up on auction sites I have seen some totally insane asking prices, and I'm at a loss to understand them. I'm not looking to make a killing off selling this; just want to get what would be a fair market price. Any suggestions? Again, this is the just the unfired barrel and the original TC buttstock and forend -- I am keeping the receiver to shoot with other barrels.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Cheers,
Whisper

Hi, on E-Bay the bbl may go for 175 to 225 depending on who is bidding. The stock if in nice shape btwn 125-175. They could sell for more if 2-3 people want them and get into a bidding war. If you go to a gun show to sell, good luck. Would be interested in the stock if for a G-1 frame. Good luck, Larry
