Default Plow Blade Bush Knife and added little brother

I found this old plow head in my barn and thought I would try my hand at making a bush knife (approx. 11"). Got more polishing and fine finishing before it's completely finished. Still not decided on putting a lanyard hole in the striker head on the butt, what do you guys think?
So I thought I would try a smaller knife (approx. 6") as well and a leather sheath.

I think you did a nice job but disagree with the final finishing and polishing. Do too nice of job on it and you wont use it and it will just be another knife in the drawer that never gets used.

Good looking knife!
I also like a lanyard hole.
But it's not my knife!

I think it's gonna be a beauty, whichever way you decide. Nice work!

It has nice lines. I'd vote for the lanyard hole. If your inclination is to do some more finish work, then by all means do so. The main thing is that you are satisfied with it for your purposes.

Very nice work!

I vote for the lanyard loop, but either way would work quite well.
