How about some non s&w 22cal revolver pics.????
Let's see those H&R's, Rugers, Colts, what ever brand you have.
No s&w please.
Let's bring these other brands into the forefront.

I've always believed that no matter how many rifles, shotguns, or center-fire handguns a person has, a man needs at least one .22 handgun.
Here are a couple of mine.
First, a Ruger Mark II. Great little shooter. I know, I know, it's not a revolver, but this little .22 is perfect for poppin' the heads off of pine grouse.
Of course, everybody needs a Ruger Single Six, especially if it has a .22 magnum cylinder, too.
And finally, the perfect little gun to tuck in the saddle bags or tackle box, the venerable Ruger Bearcat.
Like I said, everybody needs at least one .22 handgun. Hmmm. This thread has got me thinking...maybe I need to go down to the local LGS and see what kind of .22 handguns they have in stock. I just might need to add another to my collection. Of course, as I will undoubtedly tell my wife, it's not for me. It's for the grandkids.

Gave my granddaughter this when she was two. She's a werewolf, which is why I had the grips scrimshawed like that.

I call these my Ruger Rimfire Trifecta.
These three are grouped together because I got exceptional deals on them during the worst of the .22 ammo shortage. The 317 was so gummed up with froglube, it would not function.

Here's a nice .22 revolver from S&W's main competitor. It just turned 80 years old. It's too bad S&W didn't go into large production with a fixed sight .22 M&P, I'll bet the few that were made up on special order are cool shooters.

I started carrying a handgun when I was 12 years old. It was an $14 RG which taught me to shoot, reduce the groundhog population and put many rabbits on the table. It seemed like every kid had one. I am sorry to say it died the death of the SNS (Saturday Night Special).
The gun grabbers claimed cheap handguns were responsible for all crime and once they went away it would be all puppy dogs, kittens, and Unicorns.
I had not even seen an RG in many years until a couple relatives passed away and I inherited several, along with a few other 22's.
As it turns out there are even collectors out there for the RG's.
RG23
RG66
The Rossi was a close second as a junk gun that may or may not fire, may or may not hit anything, and may or may not blow up. Hahahaha
Note: Not a revolver but recently, I purchased a modern state-of-the-art SNS, a Phoenix and I have been amazed. It has functioned and fired every brand of 22 bullet I have put through it. Only time will tell how long it will last.
Nowadays, the most popular 22 revolver around here is the North American Arms 22. Farmers, preachers, fishermen, truckers, even the pizza delivery guy carries one.
There are still a few of these old guns around.

Well, since semi-autos are invited here's the first firearm I ever "owned", given to me by my dad for Christmas when I was 12. I shot thousands of rounds with it. When I was a teenager I liked to shoot M-80's or something akin to a M-80 taped to a paper target at about 20-25 yards. My son has also enjoyed putting thousands of rounds through it. It's held up very well. The below picture is recent.

BELOW ARE MY 2 MODEL 617s…...
THE 8 3/8" IS A NO DASH THAT CAME IN THE ORIGINAL BOX, WITH PAPERS, AND A NO DRILL SCOPE MOUNT WITH A 2X SCOPE THAT HAD NEVER BEEN MOUNTED. THE GUN LOOKED UNFIRED. I SOLD THE SCOPE AND MOUNTED AN "ULTRADOT", 30MM RED DOT, USING THE CLAMP ON MOUNT, WITHOUT DESTROYING THE ORIGINALITY. THIS REVOLVER SHOOTS LIKE A RIFLE…..
THE 4" IS A CURRENT PRODUCTION 10 SHOT. THE PATRIDGE FRONT SIGHT WAS SWAPPED OUT FOR A S&W RED RAMP, AND THE REAR IS A WEIGAND COMBAT, WITH A .125" NOTCH BLADE. GRIPS ARE AHRENDS SMOOTH, TACTICAL CONVERSIONS IN OIL FINISHED MORADILLO. THE IL IS PLUGGED…..

What's sadder is that roughly half the people posting in this thread don't know what a revolver is.

The Colt Woodsman and the Ruger Super Single Six are heirlooms. I don't shoot them. I own a Ruger MKIII standard. Nothing special about it. It's the only .22lr pistol I enjoy shooting.

It's an Iver johnson Model 57A, solid frame. 8 shot with 6 inch barrel. Plastic, thumbrest grips. Rear sight adjustable for windage, front sight adjustable for elevation. Trigger pull pretty bad, but no problem with its accuracy. Here's its other side. I sold it a while back (unless it's in my 'to be sold' sack and I'm too lazy to look and find out).

Let's see those H&R's, Rugers, Colts, what ever brand you have.
No s&w please.
Let's bring these other brands into the forefront.

Here's a few:
Colt Official Police.
Left to right - Llama, another Llama, Taurus, and S&W (sorry, it was already in the picture.)
North American Arms Ranger.
Rossi Princess.
Llama "kit gun".
Colt Police Positive .22 on the bottom. The top one is a .32 that's had a S&W pre-war adjustable rear sight added.
I also have an H&R 999 Sportsman (my very first handgun), a few Ruger Single Sixes, a High Standard Sentinel (the style with the full underlug barrel), and maybe a few others....

Seems like alot of folks ignored the "revolver" part of the picture request. I don't have any pictures handy of my two Ruger .22 revolvers. But I shoot this pistol a lot more ...
Walther PPK/S .22
