Default You could say I have a slightly eclectic collection

As I mentioned in another post, I had some extra videogame junk that I didn't use. You kind folks said get rid of it, so I decided why not. I was going to use to money to work on expanding my vintage VW collection, but at 9 of them I think that's enough (will be finishing 3 and selling them next summer.) Anyway, more of the game stuff is gone and has been replaced by a pair of more useful items.

The first is an AR15 I assembled from a TNArms Co lower and 1:7 twist 16" stainless Palmetto State Armory upper. The scope is a Vortex Crossfire 3-9x40 (price, warranty, and clear glass got me interested.) I have ammunition and magazines (10rd and 30rd) for it, as well as a red dot from the same company to swap on for shorter ranges.

The second is a Norinco NHM91 with a 20" barrel. I got it in trade for a second AR15 that I had with an M4 profile PSA upper and a different lower. The bipod is MIA, but I'll track one down. I also have magazines and ammunition for it too (10rd and 30rd).

Here they are. Magazines are empty, safeties on.

I also have a TNArms Co AR10 lower on pre-order that I'll be slowly building as money and time permit.

I've also kinda wound up collecting Norinco products. The first one functions well and is sturdy, plus the supply is limited so why not?

I found an RPD bipod for the NHM91 since the adjustable Chinese ones are either $$$ or impossible to find. I also tracked down a drum, but it isn't pictured.

The second AK is a MAK90 that I got in trade for a PSA AR15 that I didn't have a ton of funds into due to trading.

Then I wound up tracking down a Norinco Paratrooper SKS-M, the variant that uses AK47 magazines, for a very low price from a guy. He had some sticking parts issues when disassembling it for me to inspect so I was able to haggle even more in person. The piston and the stuck firing pin were tended to and it functions properly again. The pouch is apparently East German and the magazines are all Chinese, the funny looking ones are commonly called all-stamps.

Nice rifles! Many moons ago I watched Mak90s blow out the door at $299, which many considered pricey for an "AK" at the time.... who knew..wish I had about 20 of them stacked up now.

Well, I went to a gun show that was a bit of a disappointment on Saturday, but it happens. I decided to wander to a flea market today that's about 12 miles from where the gun show was to look for wine making carboys. No dice there, which stinks.

Instead I saw a person with a box of new drum magazines. After asking to check them for identifying marks I found a trio of Chinese pre-ban drums: an AK47 75rd Polytech 9396, an AK47 /36\ 75rd, and an AR15 /36\ 120rd.

I traded off a Glock 23 for a Beretta 92FS that resembles some movie/videogame gun according to one of my friends.

I also gave up a Kahr PM-9 (obtained via trade as a CCW backup, but changed my mind) for a 1911.

It's a mildly customized Ruger SR1911 lightweight commander from either 2016 or 2017 that I picked up via trade recently. The stainless slide was cerakoted by a local shop in a blue/black/gray color. The mainspring housing is a chainlink pattern, trigger is serrated, the rear sight is a 10-8 and the front sight is a Trijicon. In the box were the original parts, Ruger grips, and grey/blue/green VZ grips.

6" .44mag Anaconda circa 1993 or so

Figured you folks would like this photo. I'm not sure of the rubber grips, but at least I still have both boxes and the papers for it.
