Troy Battle Mags ?
Anyone have any problems with this make of magazine? I'm thinking that their good to go, especially at $9.99 each for black 30 rounders.

Check out the AR forum. The general consensus over there is that the
Magpul pmags are the best for the money and can be found for under
$12.

My Pmags lasted me 2 tours in Afghanistan and three 90 day rotations in Somalia, DRC, and CAR. you still have too keep them clean but that is easily accomplished with a rag, qtips, and some CLP.

The Troy mags last a lot longer than the pmags, at least in Alaska, in the cold, under duty and training use, and left fully loaded for over a year.... I think they are the better of the two.

I have both and both have been good so far. Including being left loaded and never cleaned

Ran a big demo shoot using the Troy mags. Countless thousands of rounds shot without any magazine related issues. They are good to go. I use a lot of both PMAGS and Tango Down ARCs. I put the Try's on par with the PMAGS. Magazines are disposable. As long as they are not fragile and totally reliable they are good. If they start to show any issues or damage, destroy them and replace.....especially for around $10.00

Thanks fellows for the responses. So after work today swung by Sportsman's Whse. and picked up 4, cost was $43.28 with tax out the door. I was going to take all 6 but left 2 for the next guy or gal.
Now have to wait till payday and stop at Cabela's for more of that $7.99 Federal XM855.
