Here is my favorite. Made by Steve Meyer of Alvin, Texas back in 69. Blade
design was mine. Handle is Sambar stag with brass and Desert Agate spacers. Blade is 440c high carbon steel. Bottom knife is one I made from
industrial chipper blade. Handle is Black Walnut with 30/30 brass for handle
Fasteners.

ChaneRZ, the one you show the fix bladed one with the green handle. I'v got one of those. Just exactly fits in the loop on the side of the leather sheath?. Feel that they should have used a heavier grade of leather on that particular sheath. bench made makes a darn good knife. I've got three. Didn't tell the wife that one cost $180 plus tax. I usually buy a new benchmade every year about Christmas for myself. Frank

Yes I agree. The D ring kinda gets annoying. The green one comes with leather sheath and the sand color one gets the kydex sheath.

Here's my ESEE-6 in action. Cold, raining, everything damp; perfect day for a little firecraft practice.

Here are my SAKs. There is a huge variety of these knives but this is my small assortment. The small ones I use for EDC. The big, fat ones go in the glove compartment of both the car and truck, the range bag and the bag that goes into the gun shows. These things are jsut too handy with all their tools. I don't think much of the blade steel; it's soft, sharpens easily but doesn't hold an edge. I use the tools a lot more than the blades so this is no big deal; I can always resharpen the blades before I need them again.

Not a big knife guy but have a couple. Top is a dagger gifted by a friend on my BD a few years ago (like 30). Bottom is my design I had made for me.
I have a few European swords.
I also have some Japanese swords but I can't find the photos.

I have a bunch of knives - some nice and some not-so-nice. But this one is my most cherished.
Not pretty, not tactical, not expensive. It was my Grandmother's kitchen butcher knife and her "whet-stone". I remember her using it on the farm 65 years ago. Looks like it was hand-made in a blacksmith shop. It's all steel - even the handle.

Here's three you don't see very often.
Fallkniven, with a 5 inch blade. i bought it on Texas Star's recommendation, a nd it's every bit as good as he said it would be.
Laguiole, with not only the blade but the corkscrew and the prong for curing (?) bloat among sheep.
Barry Wood folder, the only folder design that is patented, I believe. This one was made for Colt.

How about an old one in not so great shape?
This old double edged Dagger was dug up on the site of the old town of Batesville, Arkansas, one of the oldest communities in the state. Shown with a small pistol flask and a reproduction of the Arkansas Militia Belt Plate.
If it could only talk.

My cheap knife collection. They not so sharp and I haven't sharpened them but they're quite well made. The one on the left is a switchblade with a hidden switch and can be opened normally too. Pretty neat.
Oh yeah, second to left is a Colt with a D2 blade for $15. Really sharp out of the box.

Here's something a little different. It's an M7 bayonet my father restocked and recently gave to me. I think it turned out really well.
