Default Holy Moley.. another Sig

Yep that's 3 in 3 weeks..... One of the pitfalls of living half an hour from the Sig Academy Pro Shop

I wanted to get a poly Sig and thought I was going to end up with a 320. After handling it I didn't like the way my thumb on my support hand rested on the takedown lever. I could tell after a box of ammo that it would probably rub my thumb raw, maybe it's just my grip

In any event I handled a 2022 and it felt great. Felt like a mix between a 229 and the 226.

453 with night sights out the door

I need help I think...eating is over rated heh

I couldn't get past the high bore axis when I handled a 2022. Probably because my late wife owned a Steyr M9 where the bore axis is by your shoelaces.

Not a fan of most of the Sig line. Being left handed that decocker is just to awkward. But I do own a Sig 1911 and it is a very good one.

Default Holy $&@# another Sig

150 trouble free rounds at the range the other day. Shoots very soft with a lot less muzzle flip than you would expect

Like my 229, if I did my job the 2022 did its job

Verdict so far: keeper

It takes some practice, but try working that decocker with your trigger finger . . .

Longtime user of Sigs - The one that started it all for me....

Many more have joined the family since then. Only let a few go in earlier times when finances took priority. Wish I still had those too.

Old school Sig fan here but I do hear good things about the 2022 and 320.

I do tend to prefer the old school ones. These are the last Sigs I've left.

P220 KC-1992

P228 KA-1990

I've owned a couple P220's and they both shot better than i
could hold them. I was fortunate enough to briefly own a "boxed
P210", 20 years ago or so. I remember i sold it at a Gun Show
for 1000.00 bucks. Ugggghhhh
Wish i had that one back...
SIG is good enough for the Secret Service and other DHS
agencies so they must be doing something right.

Amen. I've got a 1989 P226 West German with well over 30K rounds through it, still runs like an Olympic sprinter, wouldn't trade a kiddie pool full of polymer clicker nonsense for it.

It has several brothers, including a 1998 ex-Texas DPS P226 DA/SA in .357 Sig (my preferred carry piece) with about 15K rounds thorough it....balls reliable. As well as a '94 P229, P239, P229R, 2006 or so ex-DPS P226 DAK (all in .357 Sig) and a darn near brand new M11 FDE in 9mm. Love 'em one and all.

I have huge hands, so the 'high bore axis' chant is non-existent bromide to me (I think it is for anyone, regardless; it's about proper grip and form anyhow) and classic metal Sigs feel like they were sculpted for my big paws.

I am seriously considering a SP2340 soon (don't care for the LCI and the rail on the SP2022) mainly because the P2340's I've groped disgustingly with a lusty glint in my eye all had trigger pulls sweeter than a bowl of Frosted Flakes. Love the grip change-out capability and snappy "ATTENTION!" decocker, too. The price flat out makes them the proverbial siren sitting on the rocks, beckoning me in.

Yeah, it'll happen soon....

Congrats on the new Sig!

I just picked up a P250 2SUM (full size / subcompact) with night sights. It was BNIB and on clearance, and I've always wanted to try a full size DAO in a semi auto, so I jumped at it. Build quality is great. I've only had a chance to shoot the full size so far. It's very comfortable to shoot but I'm not sure if it's a keeper or not. I need more practice with that trigger. I think it would be the perfect semi auto for a revolver guy / gal looking at getting a first semi.

Will do. I can tell you the subcompact is pretty big. It's slightly bigger and heavier than my m&p compact. The trigger is smooth though and in the 6.5 - 7 lbs range.
