Default Matching handguns with ammo- same country of origin?

I posted this on another forum, but figured I would do this here too, since we have a lot of firearms lovers here. The more answers the better

I own a number of metal pistols, and I plan on keeping them, since that is a vanishing breed. I'll keep shooting whatever range ammo they like, but I figure it would be neat to keep one box of "native" ammo for each; a round that comes from the same country and/or specifically used by said pistol. Thing is, I'm not sure about a lot of them, as to what ammo that would be. Here's what I have come up with so far, please feel free to add, correct etc.

CZ 75- Sellier and Bellot (Czech)
Beretta 92- Fiocchi (Italian)
FEG P9M (hipower clone)- Hungarian RWS? MFS?
S&W 39-2- Federal? Speer? Winchester?
S&W 915- should that be the same as above, or a different round due to age?
Star 30M, Star Modelo B Super- haven't the slightest clue about Spanish ammo, and the guns are decades apart
Norinco T-54 9mm- Norinco or Jing An?

Well that is a rather interesting sub hobby!

If you enjoy doing it, its well worth it.

Default You Are On To Something

It should be noted that there is at least some evidence to support you. The West German made Walther PPK/s was not as reliable as it should have been when using factory fresh, domestically made ammunition. It turns out that European countries, at least with the .380 ACP (9mm Corto) load their ammunition a bit hotter than American manufacturers do and the pistols were designed to function with European ammo. Anyone using the German made Walther might note that it takes some effort to retract the slide.

Occasional failures to eject with the Walther can be cured by using European ammo such as Norma, or installing a lighter Wolff main spring.
