I have one of the single-action, round-button, Buck 110 conversions, but the conversion voids Buck's "Forever Warranty". The 420HC (High Carbon) Steel tempered to 58 Rc is fine, but without the "Forever Warranty" it just isn't a Buck.
Incidentally, you can "build your own" Buck 110 (or 112) with a S30V steel blade on Buck's website. handles of Elk, cherrywood, Buffalo Horn, walnut, and others are available from their factory in Post Falls ID.
