Gun and knife....
I saw this gun and knife thread and thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. This is my grandfather-in-laws 1957 Colt Agent and his Case Leverlock. He had no sons and his only grandson (my brother-in-law) can't be trusted with much of anything, so I ended up with them. That, and in his later years I took him out to the range of couple of times and I used to sneak him scotch when his wife wasn't looking. He always called me "Bub".

This is a classic example.......
Your Good Deeds and Good Scotch made an old Grandfather-in-law very happy and you were rewarded with a few great old tools, good on you Sir and thanks for making an old man happy even if "Grandma" didn't approve!

Iggy, I really like those smooth targets on your Model 10! They look perfect for that "experienced" revolver. Are they S&W smooth targets or a different maker?

spad 124,
That there be a fowty one magnum, not no model 10.
Back in the dark ages, I couldn't afford the $12.00 for a pair of targets from S&W, so I destroyed the PC Magnas that came on the gun for the hardware and made this set from scratch.
My first and last grip making effort. The other side shows a little more wear and tear.
The original grips would probably be worth more now than the gun.

Oops! I missed the Model 58 in your description- apologies! I just like those old heavy barrel fixed sight revolvers. 👍 I'm just a bit more familiar with your 58's "little brother".
You did a great job with the stocks. I'd be proud to have those on one of my N frames.

I have quite a few gun pics and knife pics on my iPad.
But this seems to be the only combo pic.

Was at the range the other day trying out some new reloads, the wind was blowing so I put my knife on the target to hold it down while I made a photo. The gun is a Springfield Champion .45 ACP.

I spent over 20 years in the plastics industry. Where some folks see cheap plastic I see light weight, durable, high quality molding.

Well - my addition to this thread is a factory engraved S&W Model 63 I bought as a remembrance of a family member passing, and I knife I made to celebrate my daughters birth.
The S&W carries Sambar Stag, the knife is ivory with star pins...
Take care,
Bob S.

These 3 were carried by my grandfather. The revolver is a I frame pre model 30.
These 2 were something I've wanted a long time.

RIA in matte nickel - my daily carry piece at the mothership in Marikina. She’s wearing blue/black carbon fiber grips from VZ. The knife is Krudo Knives’s “Discipline”.

The title of this thread reminds me of a Memphis beer joint I used to frequent when a young lad because everyone in there had either a gun or a knife.

I thought I had posted these before, but I guess that was on another thread.
These 3 guns stocks kinda match the knives. Left to Right:
1911 Colt Gold Cup, Heiser holster, Texas Gunslinger belt, Silver Navajo
buckle by Nezzi, and Ultimate 1911 knife.
S&W Model 10 with 2" barrel, Grasshorn stocks, Puma Prince knife,
Ken Null's RSS (Revolver Super Speed) holster.
S&W 642-1 with Hogue blue lava stocks, little black Chic Gaylord holster,
Piranha knife.
