Default Legacy Sports (Armscor?) 9mm 1911 for $299?

One of the door busters, alongside the 299 Shield, is a full size blued 1911 in 9mm. I think it only comes with one mag. It is advertised as by Legacy, which I think makes it an Armscor gun? Looks loaded with features, beavertail, Novak sights, etc. Price is $299.

One the one hand it is a full size all steel 9mm for $299. On the other hand it is a full size steel 1911 for $299. But on the other other hand, it is a 1911 in 9mm which seems...eh.

Buy or pass at that price?

I have a CZ SP01 now, which is an all steel 9mm, a bit fatter, that holds 20 rds.I believe the 9mm 1911 is either 8 or 9 plus one.

I have owned and shot Commander and Full Size 1911s by Kimber, Colt, Ithaca, Springfield Armory but always in .45 ACP. I do not currently have a 1911.

I usually pass on the low brand/no name brand guns, especially 1911s. Not saying you should buy a $2k 1911 but for that gun I'd rather spend my money on ammo for the CZ

The Hi Points are $129 (9mm Compact).

MSRP on the Armscor 9mms 1911s with everything seems to be circa $550.

Would I jump o it? Like a duck on a Junebug! Armscor 1911s are the equal of any made, and $299 is a certifiable bargain.

If these are as good as any, maybe I can dump my Sig 1911 and buy one of these, and have money left over for a second pistol.
