Default DPMS AR

Local Sportsman's Warehouse has some DPMS Oracle ARs for $475 out the door. I was lucky enough to have $40 worth of store promotional flyers so $435 total cost. It has only one magazine and no sights but with the rails there are many options.

Great choice and great value. DPMS makes an outstanding product. You could not have purchased a parts kit and built one for less. These rifles, as you probably know, have the 5.56 NATO chamber and can shoot G.I. and Commercial ammo. The barrel has a 1" in 9" twist and will shoot heavy bullets ( 62, 69, 75 and 77 grain) very well.

It will accept G.I. surplus and PMags. Buy a quality optic or "red dot" sight and enjoy!

Keep an eye on ebay for used reflex optics and you'll have a great bargain AR. Also now is the time to buy AR mags in bulk. Honestly, Black Friday was the time to buy.

I've got a DPMS A2. It's got a target barrel, so it's heavier than my old issue M-16. Shoots better, goes right where I aim it, every time.
