Default Will Star 30MI mags fit Star 30PK?

Wondering if anyone knows if I can use Star 30 magazines in a Star 30PK. Near as I can tell from the interwebs the Star 30MI mags (and S&W 59** series mags) should fit.

Yes? No?

Just want to check before I decide on buying a PK to go with my 30MI (for which I have three magazines.)

This site makes no mention of different mags. Star Firearms — Models 28, 30 & 31
Star Firearms : Information on Magazines

This seller reckons the triple K mags won't work in the 30PK. Star 28/30/31 magazine 9mm 15RD : Pistol Magazines & Pistol Clips at GunBroker.com

I understand that 59 series mags will work in many of these big Stars. If they don't work straightaway, then minor fettling of the mag catch hole will usually do the trick.

I have an MI, and like it a lot. I'm a little intrigued by the PKs listed at Sarco's site for $230.

30 mags interchange, as well as 28 & 31P/MI

The TripleK mags usually have to be fitted via moderation of the feed lips.
Simple method is to make their feed lips match the OEM mag...
then tweak from there...

You are also correct about the S&W 59-series mags
