Default Ruger LC9s

I was talking to the fellow at the LGS a few days ago, and he mentioned that they had the Ruger LC9s on sale for $249.00. To be honest, I wasn't even sure what an LC9s was, so he fetched one for me to look at.

It was pink.

"That's the only color we got at that price. Try the trigger." Well the trigger sold me. Very Good trigger IMHO. Seven plus one rounds of 9mm, single stack, thumb safety, plus a little Glock type thingie in the trigger. Brand new, in the box, with all the stuff.

I could think of worse things than a "raspberry" pistol. Especially for $150.00 off.

Well, I'm not afraid of a "raspberry" pistol, so I went ahead and got one.

Good shooting gun. I hate to admit it, but I shoot it a lot better than I do a small D/A revolver. At seven-ten yards I had no trouble staying in the 10X ring on a B-27, which for me is good shooting. Two hundred rounds of mixed FMJ and HP ammo, no malfunctions at all.

I went back and put a purple one on layaway for my wife (They got some more in).

I have an LC9-S and love it. Best trigger I have ever felt on a mass produced weapon. Much better than a Glock or an M&P. I had a Shield once and it was OK, but the Ruger is smaller, lighter, and has a better thumb safety than the Sheild, which was too flush to get a good hold onto. Plus, I like the mag disconnect.

But the color would bother me every time I looked at it. I would have spent the extra money for the black.
