Default "New" Uberti Walker .44

I just got a used Uberti Walker. I jumped on it on an on line ad right after it was posted because the price was pretty low at $250. If I didn't someone else would. And they did, but were just a little slow on the draw. The replaced two piece grips are really nice and that screw in them doesn't distract me like I thought it might. What a beast! That small grip frame feels good, but it's like picking up a fork lift by one of it's blades.

That is nice! I'm picking one up from layaway tomorrow - I don't think its as nice as yours. Can't wait for a range report.

I have a Dragoon I never shot, but I've shot my 1860. You're right. It is fun, and that gun fits my hand like no other.

For some reason, perhaps Mexican censorship, your post was cut off before I got to the shooting report.

Just kidding. But I can't wait to read the shooting report!

Four and a half pounds, but probably five once you stuff those six holes with lead. I am really fascinated with this behemoth. Clint Eastwood must have had a chiropractor on the set of Josey Wales where he packed a pair of these. and an 1860 army...and a Pocket Model...and a....
