My 110 was made in November 2015 in the U.S. the nylon sheath for it dated around the same time on a tag on it and it was made in China. My 119 was made in December 2015 in the U.S. it's leather sheath was made in Mexico. Both knives bought at Wal-Mart within the last few weeks. I was a little bummed that the 110 had a nylon sheath but I've had a cellphone case and my leatherman case are both nylon and have been threw hell and back worn everyday on my belt and worked well. I looked on Buck's website they offer a leather sheath for $15 but it had more bad reviews than good. I'll stick with the nylon for now.

I did not intend to imply that all the Buck knives sold by Wal-Mart are made in China, only all the slip joints. Some of the more modern folders are also made in China, but not all of them.

$28 plus tax is the local Wal-Mart's price for a new Buck 110. Considering inflation, compared to what I paid in 1970 that is a screaming bargain.

Smoky Mountain Knife Works sells Case brand leather pouches for $8 & shipping.

I have a buck 119 and a few 110s, and they are great knives.

I found this Buck Custom quite a few years ago off of eBay for a song and a dance (I paid 90 dollars for it). This is a shelf queen.
