Default Howe Mountain Knives

Just got this one in from Dale at Howe Mountain...clean, simple, elegant with superb craftsmanship. Handle is polished Micarta. Haven't used it yet, but that'll change soon.

Hi Donn
I thought so too, until I checked his prices. Very affordable. No $500.00 stuff with a 4 year wait, like a Randall.

Dale likes to use 154CM Stainless, but also works with Elmax, S30V and 440C. Mine was made out of the 154CM stuff.

3 out of 4 are my favorite steels, and 440C can be good if properly heat treated. Very cool!
