I also have several Les Baer guns. Here's two of them.
A hard chrome Premier 2 with several options including the 1.5" accuracy package.
Another Premier 2 in 38 Super, also a 1.5" gun.
I don't know where the pics of the others are at this time. I'll post them if I find them.
The third gun is a work from the shop of Wayne Novak in WV. It's not a full build but it came out exactly as I had wanted.

1st photo other than the Springfield Factory Comp gun that went to the son I sold or traded off the rest. There was another upper not in the photo. Gun with the pewter grips had a 22 upper on it.
2nd photo home build with Foster frame and old IMI National Match upper with a ramped barrel I built for myself because I never had a ramped barrel on a 1911.
3rd photo home grown that I built and gave to the son.

It's not a S&W, but it's a great gun. I did nearly all the work on it myself, and used it in quite a few competitions. When I went to qualify for my CCW that's what I grabbed with 230 ball ammo.

I might have posted this, but I don't think so.
Rock Island Armory, GI 45 ACP Not much to look at I suppose, but shoots well enough for me.
I guess this is a 1911 (I know nothing about the internals). We haven't had it long but I like it already. Springfield Armory EMP, 9mm. Got it like new, in the box.
And I had forgotten about this one. I'm not sure if's a scaled down 1911 (again, I know nothing about the internals), or if it just looks/functions like one. Llama XV, 22 Long Rifle.

Les Baer Ultimate Tactical Carry. I have several 1911’s and this one is super accurate! Probably the most accurate semi-auto in my arsenal.

Colt Series 70/ Marvel Precision Unit 1
I've owned the Colt for a few decades, but the Marvel Precision Unit 1 .22 Conversion Unit is a recent purchase. I added a Vortex Venom reflex red dot and it's a tack driver.

Kimber TLE II.
Yeah, I get all the Kimber hate, I don't think they're a very good value. But my wife loves hers, and that's all that matters.

One of my regular carry guns. Late-1980s Officers Model fitted with a prototype John Nowlin carry comp with match barrel. I just added the Eagle faux ivory checkered grips.

Beautiful pistols, all. I love the 1911.
Below is a Colt series 70 National Match that I ordered from Colt’s Custom Shop. It was made by a single gunsmith named James. It has a royal blue finish, Novak gold dot front sight, ironwood grips and the sweetest 3 lb trigger I have ever experienced.

I had not had a 1911 in over 2 decades. I tried to carry on duty on my first Police Officer job but My Chief did not like the looks of it. "Police Officers always carry .38 revolvers." I showed him my recently purchased S&W model 58 in .41 Magnum and he agreed that it would a good looking Police Revolver. Over the years I carried numerous revolvers and DA Semi Autos on police duty but never a 1911. I had been thinking that I ought to get another. I saw this RUGER for a good price and it came home with me.

Picked this ACE up at Tulsa last month. Fired for function last night. Goes bang every time. Will have to wait for daylight and better weather for paper. Click on the pics for more detail view.

Here's my 1911A1 Remington Rand. Built by Marine armorer for a member of the US Navy Camp Perry team. I inherited this Remington-Rand this year from a dear friend who passed away. His father was a Lt. Comdr. and shot this gun in Camp Perry matches.
Along with the 1911 came a NIB Colt .22LR Conversion with two magaiznes. It's dated 1964 on the paperwork.

Early import ( 1982/83 ) Norinco mil-spec. Best shooters for the money and customizing "platforms" , but difficult to find now due to ban on Norinco small arms imposed by Clinton.

I'm going to post this as a placeholder, while I wait for my latest to arrive today.
I'm a bit sheepish, looking at all the nice 1911's in this thread- mine are a lot more humble.
I'm likely going to edit this after taking more pictures, but for now:

Like raljr1, I was also way late to the 1911 party. I bought my first one in February of 18, an ATI military style 5" FX-45. It's a surprisingly good gun, especially for the money I paid for it. It sold me on the 1911 platform. I probably have 3000-3500 rounds through it now.
In March of this year, I decided to splurge and get myself a high end 1911 and decided to go with an Alchemy Custom Weaponry Prime Elite, built either by Rob Schauland or under his supervision. I wanted a traditional looking 5" blue finish gun with no rails or other stuff and boy did he deliver. It shoots so sweet and is definitely more accurate than me. Since I got in in late April I have shot around 1000 rounds through it. It's definitely been one of my favorite guns to bring to the range lately.
