The Perfect Partner for a S&W Model 57
Henry Repeating Arms is making the Big Boy Steel in .41 Mag!
I have a thing for heading to the range with a few different rifle/handgun "pairs" that share the same ammunition and letting 'em rip. What's not to love about bringing 6 firearms and 3 types of ammo?
I also have a thing for Henry's lever action rifles, so when I saw that their Big Boy Steel will now be available in .41 Mag (finally!) the first thing I thought of was the S&W Model 57.
Oh, what fun this will be!

Welcome to the Forum
You will find that there are MANY 41 Magnum Enthusists here
I have a few 57/357/657s and larger companions as well. This group photo is about 10 years old and missing probably half of the family.
This first lever action is the Marlin CCL, it is also pictured in the group photo above. These were produced around 1999
The second lever action is one of a run of 249 stainless Marlins that were done around 2005
That Henry will make a nice addition to my family. I like the straight stock lever guns. Thanks for bringing it to our attention

Meh....
I've tried over the years many rifle/pistol combinations. I am no longer impressed by this concept as I was never able to find a rifle (in any pistol caliber) that was any more accurate than the pistol it was paired with.

That is one of the 125 "BUBBA" Pythons that were done in Texas long long ago
One of the writers, I think it was Taffin, had the complete story on how these 125 guns came to be. It used to be posted on his website, but it was taken down a few years ago.
I wish I had the forethought to have printed it, but I was a fool and did not.
