Default My wife and the carbine.

So I take the Mrs. with me last weekend to the range.
She shoots my 995 TS and says she really enjoyed shooting the rifle and maybe she'd look at getting one for herself.

So needless to say my local Rural King had one left on sale for $269 and it came home with me.

Of course when she got it she said... How come mine doesn't look like yours? I started laughing and told her don't worry... I got you a muzzle brake, mag holders, & extra mags all ordered already, and they should be here by the end of the week. I then installed the vertical grip that already came in and she said it was looking better.

Moral of the story...don't take the wife to the range, unless you wanna pay for their habit too.

Ruthie shoots mine ok but she has an affinity for the LCP. I can live with that--as it gives me more shoulder shootin' time.

Besides, she hates striping the 995.

Think everyone hates stripping the 995 down to clean.
I've got over 3250 rds through mine now and its only been stripped down to clean - twice.
Usually just a brush with some patches down the barrel along with a couple drops of lube. Then put up in the safe, till the next range trip.

I can only think of maybe 5 times where it has failed to fire in all those rds. 2 of them were my fault for not seating the magazine all the way in.
